Frequently asked questions

How is the Physical Vascular Therapy performed?

The application is performed by the full body application module B.BODY according to a given treatment plan, whose continuous and daily application can generally improve blood circulation and the overall energy situation (see above).
The twice daily use of the Basic Plan is the foundation of the BEMER Therapy over a full body regulation. For local applications, there are also special application modules (B.SPOT, B.PAD) and to treat the skin there is a "light-application module", B.LIGHT, that can be applied in addition to the application module B.BODY depending on the indication.
The BEMER Therapy can be carried out either at a doctor's office, but mainly in home use twice a day.

Why do the BEMER-PRO/CLASSIC Sets include various application modules?

The application of Physical Vascular Therapy must be considered under two aspects:
1. The Basis of each therapy is the application of the full body application module
B.BODY with the Base Plan for the overall improvement of the general circulation
and all other effects listed.
2. Support of the general
therapy and all effects through additional local stimulation in affected
Body regions with the B.SPOT (relatively limited area) and the B.PAD (large area).

What is the Base Plan?

The Base Plan has been continuously adapted and optimized through years of
experience taking into consideration product technology and continuous user
observation. The Base Plan provides the basic user recommendation
by the manufacturer and is the basis for the optimal application of Physical
Vascular Therapy which was clearly and scientifically established.

Within what time you can expect therapy results?

The duration of the therapy depends greatly on the severity of the disease, the patient's age, duration of disease, and the entire life style of the respective person. First noticeable improvements in treatment arise in most people within four to six weeks if the Base Plan is followed regularly and consistently.

How long do the results of the therapy persist?

The Physical Vascular Therapy is recommended as a long-term treatment.
The positive effects of Physical Vascular Therapy are maintained for a considerable period. This depends in essence on the individual life style of the respective user.
The objective is to maintain the performance and health to an old age. It's less important how old you are, but how you get old (with what quality of life).

How does the application of the BEMER Physical Vascular Therapy feel?

The sensation of BEMER application is different from user to user. Some users experience a slight feeling of warmth or tingling. Most feel much relaxed and strengthened after the application.
If in doubt, consult your doctor, a BEMER reference physical familiar with the Physical Vascular Therapy or medical user councelling.

How can one effectively support the BEMER application?

  • Drink plenty of non-carbonated water to ensure an optimal fluid balance.
  • Maintain a balanced, wholesome diet, avoid eating raw fruit or vegetables in the evening, avoid or minimize alcohol and nicotine to avoid a dietary overload of the body
  • Exercise plenty outdoors without overwhelming the organism (observe age-appropriate pulse values).
  • Suplement vitamins, minerals and trace elements if needed; leg cramps are often a sign of magnesium deficiency, cramps in the arms or cardiac arrhythmia can suggest calcium deficiency.
  • Avoid stress during BEMER Therapy (Mobile phone, telephone, television ...).

Will an athlete gain performance by the application of Physical Vascular Therapy?

Yes, the BEMER application can cause an increase in performance.
The improved performance is due to a shortened recovery time, reduced risk of injury and a power-saving warm up.
Thanks to the quicker recovery, training can be altered, resulting in an increase in performance. It has been observed that infections during the training load occur to a lesser extent than usual.

If an athlete affects his metabolism by the Physical Vascular Therapy, is that equivalent to doping?

No, the metabolism is optimized only in the context of existing physical conditions. Impaired blood flow caused by acidification normalizes more quickly, waste products are excreted in less time and lesioned muscle cells can be repaired faster.

Should I inform my doctor about the application of Physical Vascular Therapy?

Yes, one should always inform the doctor. A physician familiar with the BEMER application, will always recommend an application as an accompanying measure.
Doctors who do not know the Physical Vascular Therapy cannot speak to it objectively. If you have questions you can contact one of the BEMER reference physicians. Please contact your local BP to obtain a nearby medical reference.

Do I even need conventional medicine anymore?

The BEMER treatment is an important support to the physician/therapist and does not replace him.
Physical Vascular Therapy can also be used in all diseases as support for therapy and rehabilitation. Also, Physical Vascular Therapy is used to strengthen the organism and to improve self-regulation. Healthy people should also use Physical Vascular Therapy to improve overall performance.
Please note: Physical Vascular Therapy never replaces a prescription by a doctor of traditional medical treatment, but in the optimum case could result in a dose reduction.
